mash-ups

one day i’m hoping to be clever enough to declare mash-ups dead. it’s not that they don’t sound good, i’m just sick of listening to them. “oh, was that van halen? on no wait, i hear prince…” i think if we get enough people saying it’s dead, we’ll stop making it, and it will go away.

  1. i know what you’re saying. and i too thought that they were pretty much played out, until I got the Exactshit bootleg that Hexstatic put out a while back (I just tracked it down 6 months ago)…. there was some pretty dope stuff on there.

    mash-ups are like any genre - there is more bad than good usually.
